Join us at the Florida Outreach Center for the Blind in Palm Springs for our Annual White Cane Awareness event!
The Palm Springs Police Department will be in attendance, managing traffic to cross streets safely. Also joining us will be city and county officials. We will meet at our center on Dolan Road and Congress Avenue and walk from there north, to Lillian Road where there is a traffic light. Crossing there, will then come back down the other side of Congress Avenue to Dolan Road and the Center.
Together we can make the streets safer and raise awareness regarding the White Cane Law and the Equal Access Law.
