FOCB’s amazing student, Enny Maldanado, may be blind, but that never stops her from learning new things and creating new milestones. Today in Independent Living class, she learned to put together a chair. Way to go, Enny!
Independent Living is taught by Luz Norris, who is also blind. She teaches FOCB students braille and many things the visually impaired need to know in order to lead a more independent life: How to use appliances, cook, clean, make beds, write checks, and so much more.
