Florida Outreach Center for the Blind maintains an on-site store featuring visual aids and adaptive equipment for hands-on inspection and purchase. These include handheld and electronic magnifiers, close circuit televisions, reading machines, talking devices, writing aids, white canes, cooking tools, sunglasses, etc. FOCB also offers an equipment loan program that allows clients to use adaptive technology which they could otherwise not afford.
