In 2008, Florida Outreach Center for the Blind expanded its programs to include itinerant services for visually impaired seniors who are unable to travel to the facility. This program provides seniors with an opportunity to learn alternative techniques of doing everyday tasks, discuss vision-related problems, and gain the confidence to take an active role in their community.
