FOCB’s Kid’s Club activities reinforce the belief that blind kids “can” participate and accomplish goals, helping children build self-esteem that leads to greater independence throughout their lifetime.
Program activities provide opportunities for blind children and their families to socialize and interact with peers. Families provide support for one another and share resources and unique challenges faced by blind children and their families. Children meet other blind children, develop friendships, and share interests. Annual activities include a holiday party and beeping egg hunt, giving blind children a chance to have fun and just be kids.
