FOCB staff and students had an amazing time at the Cox Science Center in West Palm Beach. “ Serving Palm Beach County since 1961, the Science Center revolves around a simple premise: science is exciting! ” From their beautiful aquariums, to the hands-on conservation station, dinosaur fossils, playscapes and tons more. The highlight was the huge Lego exhibits created by the acclaimed artist, Sean Kenney. We walked through life-size Lego creations that depicted diverse ecosystems from the artic to forests and savannas and cities. Some sculptures used over 160,000 Lego bricks to make them! Thank you, Cox, for making our field trip so memorable!
