It was a wonderful day of celebration where Commissioner Joel Flores and Mayor Bev Smith with members from their offices joined us with staff, students, organizations, and many visitors. Commissioner Flores presented FOCB director, Carolyn Lapp, with a beautiful proclamation honoring our center’s work in the community.
A special thanks to them, 211, DBS, and so many others who turned out to help us march up the street escorted by our fantastic Palm Springs Police Department who turned out in droves with their Captain Silva!
A huge thank you to everyone for their support of our Florida Outreach Center for the Blind and helping to bring attention to motorists about the White Cane Law!
