FOCB students attended an intensive class/workshop, let by Judy Porro, our certified O&M specialist. She reviewed brain-based learning and important independent living skills, helping our students to overcome physical and emotional obstacles to confidently travel beyond the confines of their home.

- How to navigate your environment safely and independently through tailored training and support;
- How to safely use a white cane or guide dog
- Getting around with your wheelchair or walker
- Using public transportation, airplanes, trains and all things to travel in your town, cities and around the world
