FOCB students and staff visited the VA Hospital for a tour and lecture about their amazing services for veterans who are blind or visually impaired. Gabino Lares, director of the VA’s blind services and rehabilitation programs discussed the many free things available. Then he took us on a wonderful tour of the various rooms set up for the blind to do classes in – woodworking, leather crafting, metal crafts, cooking kitchen, and so much more. A huge thank you to Gabino and staff on a great day!
