Students had a wonderful time working on a hanging wooden sign with Amy. They chose from different sayings to install on it along with a variety of things to attach – leaves, flowers, and many others. Thank you, Amy, for another wonderful art class!
Thank you, Amy Alakman from Talking Books Library! Your arts & crafts class this Tuesday, 11/18, was fabulous. Our students worked on holiday ornaments/decorations made from a variety of things: bells, balls, tinsel, bows, and tons of sparkly things. They came out great!
Students had a great craft class today where Amy had us work with clay and mosaic pieces and others, to create beautiful stone pieces for the home.
FOCB students practiced their skills in a food-cutting-etiquette workshop. Leading the class was Luz Norris, FOCB’s Independent Living Skills teacher…and Judy Porro, our Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist & Vision Rehabilitation Therapist. It’s never too late to learn new skills at our center!
